Our research centers on basic and applied trophic ecology, with a major emphasis on understanding how biotic and abiotic stressors modulate species interactions. By intimately understanding insect behavior we can find methods to manipulate trophic interactions to our benefit and develop sustainable pest management techniques or predict patterns of pest insect outbreaks.
